6 Ways To Ignite Your Calorie-Burning Furnace
Despite the raging debate, at the end of the day you have to be in a caloric deficit if you want to lose fat. There is no way around this, period.
And you will feel less hunger if the majority of your caloric deficit comes from physical activity, not dietary restriction.
Thus, here are 6 ways to ignite your calorie-burning furnace:
1. Don’t work from the seated position: Not only will this ruin your lower back, but you will also burn less calories. I recommend working from the standing position as much as possible and once you get tired, migrate to the seated position.
2. Avoid overdoing the cardio: If you do too much cardio, your resistance training will suffer. And recall that resistance training is the best way to create the biggest caloric deficit in your system. So make sure you do not do too much cardio here.
3. Don’t eat too much or too little protein: Eat too little protein and your body will burn fewer calories during digestion. Eat too much protein, on the other hand, and you will burn less calories during and after your workouts.
4. Avoid physical activity burn out: If you are walking just for the sake of walking, you will eventually burn out. Instead, incorporate physical activity into your daily life with things that you enjoy doing. Or, perform your physical activity while doing other things.
5. Try to swim: Or move around in the water. You see, water pulls heat away from your body much faster than air. So doing some exercise in the water is a great way to burn more and more calories. Just be careful because exercise in water creates massive hunger spikes.
6. Exercise within the ten repetition range: At this repetition range you will create the biggest caloric deficit. Only use lighter weights and higher repetitions if you are a beginner. Otherwise, push yourself to the limit within said range.
If you create the majority of your caloric deficit from physical activity, you will be far better off in the long run. So make sure you don’t sit on this information and take action now!
