Acai Berry Supplements and Weight Loss

There are many people wanting to know if acai berry supplements and weight loss go together like a hand and a glove. I have to say from all my experience withthe fruit it does what it has been described to do. In fact this great supplement is loaded with a great many benefits.

The acai berry is a small purplish grape sized berry found in the jungles of the Amazon. It is actually 80% seed and 20% fruit pulp and has been said to be one of the healthiest berries on this planet. Supposedly it also boosts the energy of the human body and again I would agree with that in my experience of taking the acai berry supplements.

As I have done my research I have found that many so-called lose weight supplements are simply appetite suppressants which is not the case with acai berry supplements. Acai naturally causes the body to burn the fat quicker than it would without it. All this is done naturally as the acai berry interacts with your body’s system.

What we have to realize is that if we follow certain rules in our lifestyles we will see natural weight loss occur with the acai berry supplements. Obviously we need to start to eat right. We cannot expect acai to help us to lose weight if all we do is eat high calorie junk food.

Secondly, you will have to follow some sort of regular exercise program. Yes I know you just want to loss weight not become the next muscle bound hulk. But that does not mean you cannot and should be involved with some regular physical exercise. It will do your heart and body good.

Once you are on a regular exercise plan and are for the most part eating correctly you will find yourself not only feeling healthier but actually losing weight at the same time. Then once you add the acai berry supplements to your regimen you will get a natural boost in weight loss as your metabolism kicks into high gear.

I do not have a very physically active job in fact I am behind the computer most of the day. I never did eat very good and it definitely showed in my belly fat that was hanging over my belt. Once I decided to get started eating sensibly and exercising I saw my spare tire begin to shrink up. The problem was that after a short time I just sort of leveled off. That is when I started to take the acai berry supplements and with no other changes the weight again began to drop off.

Once I got into the habit of eating better, exercising more and taking two acai berry supplements daily I have lost weight and kept it off for the long haul. It has been over one and a half years since I got to the weight I wanted to get to and have been able to maintain that weight as well.
